13 craftspeople + 1 gallery space x 2 days = infinite possibilities
Washi Lockdown & Auction
On the weekend of June 7th and 8th, thirteen craftspeople in all media from across Ontario were locked into the Ontario Crafts Council Gallery together for two days, pooling their creativity to create one-of-a-kind collaborations that incorporate Japanese washi paper.
Don’t miss a rare opportunity to bid on truly unique collaboratively handmade objects through a silent auction running June 9th, 10th & 11th at the OCC Gallery and through this blog. 100% of funds raised will go to support the Council’s programming and exhibitions schedule. Hurry! There is no time to lose - the Washi Auction closes at 8pm EST on June 11th.

Amazing, thanks for your creative energies! I look forward to seeing you all in action tomorrow!
To all the observers out there....don't forget that the auction for these amazing creations begins on Wednesday, June 11 @ 6:30 pm. I look forward to seeing you all.
Again, to everyone participating...thanks for bringing craft to life.
Things are shaping up at the OCC and at this event. Glad to see the use of other objects found around the house in your work. I am sure that this will inspire others to look around and reuse or image the possibilities.
